🩷 Pink: Axial locking using a clamp. Why isn’t the key enough? In this case, I needed to prevent axial movement, and the local locking method required this solution.
🟠 Orange: This is the simplest and most classic arrangement of a pair of bearings designed to support radial forces.
🟢 Green: Another locking used to set the marked dimension during assembly. Notice that the locking screw presses on the key and not the shaft, which is crucial to avoid damaging the shaft when disassembling for maintenance.
